Always drove mostly SUV's. That's a new car for me, was never a big fan of TOYOTA. Got this car by accident. And LOVE IT!

Very comfortable, a lot of space. I thought it's smaller or the same size as my other SUV, JEEP. But it's much bigger. Not as fast, but you don't hear the engine running at all. And better on gas (hence Japanese VS American car. Plus my JEEP has 3.7 L engine versus 3.3 L on TOYOTA). More expensive to service than a JEEP, but much softer and better suited for long drives.

Off road - not even a competetion for JEEP. Because it's softer and heavier, and dosn't have a differencial blockage, TOYOTA is not as good off road as JEEP.

But overall - I'm very happy with the car. If I gonna have to do some heavy off road or snow driving - I can always take a JEEP.:-)

Sometimes it pays to have a few cars.

And don't forget - roads in Canada are FAR from good. Also take into consideration long, cold winters with a lot of snow.

No issues so far. At all. Had to change the battery, but that's about it.
